Missouri Grill Description
Missouri is an American grill and restaurant with a touch of class; sited in a simply decorated room opposite Aldgate station, it offers a high quality slice of America's finest, including several Missouri (the state) specialties.
Divided into Entrées/Slow Cook/Roast and Entrées and Grills, the simple menu is a carnivore's delight. Appetisers include an excellent Maryland crab cake with a smidgen of red pepper jam, while mains feature calf's liver, lamb, duck, but it's the five different types of superb steak that set Missouri apart. If you have steak-loving friends, take them there.
In fact, if you have chocoholic friends, take them too - for a slab of sunken chocolate with a scoop of mocha ice cream - possibly the best chocolate dessert in London. All with excellent, personable service.

We've had dinner at Missouri twice. Both times food and service were excellent. They serve delicious, authentic, but refined, well-presented North American cuisine of a kind not much offered in London, and deserve to be better known. Prices were fair considering the city edge location. A second branch (America Square, Fenchurch Street) is reportedly coming soon.

My girlfriend and I went to Missouri last night spurred on by the 25% discount offered by the Metro. It was a fantastic meal, I really like well made American food and this place did not disappoint. We had crab cakes and Caesar salad followed by a peppered New York strip steak and Mahi Mahi all were excellently made and accompanied by perfectly cooked fries we had a bottle of Chilean wine, cheesecake and coffees I paid £71 a bargain. The service was attentive.
