Mister Li

Located on Crown Terrace, Mister Li sits amidst a plethora of Chinese restaurants in Aberdeen and is slowly proving to be a culinary destination with a difference, offering some unusual Chinese fare. The dining area comes decorated in pastel shades offset by brightly coloured furniture and potted lush green plants.

The cooking intends to rev up the most jaded of palates with some sizzling delights and intense flavours, so first check out a house special combination of ribs, stuffed aubergines in black bean sauce with chilli, crispy beef slices, salt and pepper squid and roasted seaweed. Peony battered chicken rolled in ham and deep-fried sweet and sour cod fillet, resembling a squirrel, is sure to bring an indulgent smile to the face of diners, and even more so a fillet steak Canton style and double cooked pork with bamboo shoots.

Mister Li does desserts with much gusto and the result is for all to see, whether it's bombed by chocolate or a coconut or lemon ripieno.
