Misty's Wine Bar & Restaurant Description

Littlehampton may have had its fair share of traditional pubs but a trendy wine bar was on the cards for quite sometime now. Now Terry and Andrea Mills have decided to take the plunge and create Misty's Wine Bar and Restaurant for the discerning diner. The lighting effect is immense - with some six-hundred soft, colour changing lights, designer fixtures and two starlit ceilings - everything is just calm and comfortable.

If you've managed to shift focus from the environs and peruse the menu you'd notice that the cooking is quintessentially British, so there's everything from prime fillet steak to grilled pork sausages. The chef's special of nut roast is served with mashed potatoes, vegetables and vegetarian gravy while a plate of continental cheeses and classic puddings such as real Madagascar vanilla crème brûlée make some delightful desserts. The globe-trotting wine list is helpfully descriptive and includes labels from the Old and New World.

Your Reviews of Misty's Wine Bar & Restaurant

Alan Fry (20 October 2007)

I live in Warwick, a county renowned for quality eateries and value for money. My sister lives in Littlehampton and introduced me to Misty's for the first time some eighteen months ago. I visit my sister every month and likewise, always dine out at Misty's. It is unfortunate that the location belies the exciting dining and service experience found in Misty's. Terry and Andrea, the owners, have a real enthusiasm about offering good, local produce, well cooked and professionally presented. Unfortunately, many of the locals do not appreciate the fine dining experience and value for money on offer and therefore Misty's can appear to be 'out of place' in this 'backwater'. If you want to experience quality dining, superb service at an affordable price in an area not known for its natural beauty, then I would not hesitate in recommending Misty's, go there before Michael Winner identifies with it.
