Judging by the success that Moderno restaurant enjoys, it's not hard to believe Italian owner Maurizio Olivieri say, 'At Moderno we don't have a star but our food is heaven sent!' Apart from the delicious cuisine, artfully prepared and presented by German chef Sacha Nick, there are many other aspects to Moderno. Set in a charming old Mallorcan house, it has recently been completely modernised. You'll find a lot of its original character still present in the floors, the high ceilings and arches, and in the garden courtyard at the back. Kosta is the maitre here and offers effortlessly friendly and efficient service. Every night there is pleasant piano music from the piano bar and lounge.
