Mole & Chicken, The Description
An attractive old pub with food, located in a quiet village in the Thames Valley, offering a warm and friendly welcome. The menu travels the world and you could start with grilled crostini of smoked salmon, trout and halibut over cream cheese with basil oil. Roast pig cheeks over a leek and potato mash served with a red wine, plum and shallot sauce takes some beating, followed by one of the delicious homemade desserts or something from the good range of cheese on offer. The wine list is catholic and well-priced with French house wine and several by the glass.
