Be prepared to queue at busy times for the restaurant and for the cafe part, although this moves a lot quicker as the choice of food is limited to what is on display (sandwiches, salads, cakes and sweet pieces, hot and cold drinks). Make sure your purse is full as a sandwich and a hot drink can set you back £5 or more. The service is fast and efficient, however, and the quality of food very good. A pleasant spot to sit and look out over the gardens as well.

Elegant service in a fabulous room overlooking gardens - make sure you get an upstairs table.

All the food is excellent, although stay away if you are on a budget. Try the Fat Rascal with LOTS of butter....
