The lexicon may define mooli as a large, white radish, but a couple of budding entrepreneurs chose to redefine this and change it to a new concept altogether. Here the idea is to blend 'warm, flavoursome fillings, zesty salsas, vibrant chutneys and crunchy salads, all rolled in a fresh homemade roti'. This bright Firth Street venue has few tables, making it more of a grab-and-go arrangement and the idea has found many takers as you could wrap up this 'movable feast' for under £10.

The menu offers a choice of five moolis and salads, limited it may seem, but the team places more emphasis on getting things right, an which they have achieved with elan. After all considerable research has gone into the making of chicken, asparagus and potato, paneer, beef and pork versions, not forgetting the delicious cucumber raita, pomegranate salsa, and mint and coriander, tomato and tamarind chutneys.

To finish, a cool mango lassi or yogurt smoothie is made more refreshing and healthy with a hint of ginger.
