Come afternoon and you're hungry, so go for the lunch menu of fish and chips with crushed peas or roast rump of lamb with mashed potatoes that will serve you well. Later during the day, marinated calamari tempura with red pepper, lime and avocado salsa makes an appearance as a starter followed by a main course of soy and star anise slow roast belly pork. The vanilla crème brûlée with champagne poached rhubarb does an excellent balancing act of flavours and a decently priced wine list brings numerous choices for the discerning drinker.
