Moza Indian Buffet Restaurant Description
If a movie in Basildon is on the agenda, then Moza Indian Buffet Restaurant is a good idea for dinner. Tucked inside the cinema building, the restaurant is a rare find that offers exceptionally tasty Indian food at reasonable prices. The fact that it's always packed is a standing testament to the quality food, efficient service and value for money. The décor is elegant, the dining area, spacious and the seating comfortable.
There is an interesting array of Indian dishes and guests are encouraged to go for re-serves as many times as they like. There are plenty of options for vegetarians including cauliflower pakora and Bombay aloo , while meat lovers may feast on a host of delectable preparations like lamb vindaloo, beef dopiaza, chicken biriyani and prawn Madras. The food could afford to be a tad spicier but it's understandable given the number of families frequenting the place. All in all, a steal for the kind of dining experience Moza provides.

It’s a good buffet style restaurant which has now been running for a number of years. It has a good selection of dishes, around thirty items at lunchtime fifty or so in the evenings. On Fridays and Saturdays they usually have a leg of lamb marinated overnight which is well worth a try. We have been with friends who have special diet requirements and they have made up dishes on request for them so a big plus for them. Good quality of varieties, from good to excellent is available. The only dishes I have had problems with are prawns which can be over cooked at times. The food is regularly replenished though there can be a bit of queuing during busy times. The service while getting drinks can be slow as can be clearing used plates. But nothing major. You could consider it a bit pricey compared to a regular restaurant if you normally just order a main and a dessert. But if you consider you can have starters and side dishes and get the opportunity to sample a wide variety of dishes then it is not so bad. Overall, it’s my favourite Indian restaurant in the region and probably one of the best outside the high Indian population areas.
