We arrived at the Pomodoro at 17:45 on 05/02/08 to be told they were not open yet would take 15minutes. We then asked if we could sit at the bar for the 15 minutes before opening time. My wife ordered Baileys on ice and I ordered Jack Daniels on ice because they did not have any Chivas Regal which was okay. After 15minutes were up, the man behind the bar who turned out to be the manager, after a change of clothes, came to us and invited us to take a two seater table right in the middle of the Restaurant to which we asked to be put in a corner table. The manager refused to do this stating that it was a four seater table and he was only able to offer us the two seater even though the restaurant was empty. After a couple of minutes remonstrating with him and not getting anywhere, we paid for our drinks and left without actually having a meal. On driving past, I actually felt the need to complain thus I went back and asked for the manager and the man from the bar was pointed out to me and I told him that it was poor customer service not to give the customer what he wanted when the restaurant was empty and he said Tuesday was a very busy night for them thus he could not put us on a corner table which normally seats four.

Avoid this place - we were ripped off on our bill the last three times we visited - they added on the service charge and presented it on a bill saying "Service not included" each time, and were then aggressive when we queried the practice of doing this. The staff were unhelpful and the food was substandard for the prices being charged.
