One of the highlights of the Ludlow repertoire - and that is high praise - located in a prime riverside setting, once an old corn mill, below the castle. Mr Underhill's is consistently good in everything it does and one can book there with complete confidence. Dinner is set three course and you may be almost certain that it will contain at least some items of carefully sourced local produce, with which the area abounds. A wine list which should serve as an example to all, is alone worth the trip, and those who delight in decent claret will be tempted to further excess by some of the outstanding contributions. My first visit to the restaurant was on a Saturday and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. Each course was matched with the one before and the one to follow, with thought for the consumer's ultimate pleasure. Thank you for a great culinary experience and a comfortable gastronomic night where no indigestion kept sleep at bay. A rare talent for many chefs to possess.
