My Big Fat Greek Restaurant's lively atmosphere is accompanied by a whole-heartedly Greek menu. The appetizers have a number of hummus-centred dishes as well as Greek fries, feta and kalamata olives and garlic shrimp. Mediterranean flavours abound with Grecian pizzas, pasta and calzone and the restaurant specialises in souvlaki dinners with chicken, lamb, beef, pork and shrimp grilled on a skewer. Greek specials include stuffed bell peppers with tomatoes, rice and ground sirloin, spanakopita, a spinach and feta cheese pie, and mousaka. They also serve sea-food specialties such as blackened salmon and shrimp and pan-seared halibut filet and lemon. For desserts there are exotic flambé baklava and galaktobouriko - a traditional dessert of semolina custard and pastry - and cheesecakes on offer, and beverages range from fruit juices and hot chocolate to herbal tea and Greek coffee.
