Opening its doors in 2003, Naan Sushi has been an impressive alternative to dine-in for excellent Japanese cuisine in Plano, Texes. Setting the right note, the interior is chic with subtle hanging lights, use of vibrant colours, comfortable seating and an ambiance that qualifies for a fine dining experience.

Bringing to the table a good variety from the Far East, both execution and presentation are impeccable. Make a great start with handmade dumplings, steamed or sautéed, and filled with assorted vegetables, beef or seafood, seared tofu with spicy soy sauce or Korean style pancake with rock shrimp, calamari, crab and scallions. As would be expected, sushi, red snapper, octopus, and jumbo clam, are to hand, but you must also try the Japanese entrees that include chicken teriyaki served with sautéed vegetables or shredded rib-eye steak served on a sizzling skillet with caramelised onions.

On Thursday and Friday, after 10pm, watch out for a fun packed karaoke night.
