Nahm Restaurant Description

Nahm at the hip Halkin hotel in Belgravia has just celebrated receiving its first Michelin star. In fact it's the first Thai restaurant in Europe to receive this outstanding accolade, though surprisingly the chef is David Thompson from Australia, who for some years ran his very successfull and famous Darley Street Thai restaurant in Sydney. The highlight of the menu for me was the jungle curry of monkfish with deep-fried shallots and long-leaf coriander.

David Thompson picked up the award for Outstanding London Chef at the 2003 Tio Pepe Carlton London Restaurant Awards.
