Nantyffin Cider Mill Inn Description
Nantyffin Cider Mill Inn is a place with a split personality, on one side a smart restaurant, created in a converted barn with wooden flooring, stone walls and table linen, on the other, a thoroughly olde worlde pub with wooden tables and fires. The same menu is served throughout but the restaurant is only open on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday lunches, while the pub operates for six days a week, closed on a Monday.
They sell real ales from nearby breweries and a variety of ciders including local scrumpy, whilst the wine list is diverse. Kids are looked after too as they are able to choose half portions of most dishes and there is usually local farm sausages and mash or fresh pasta.

We decided to eat Sunday lunch at the Nantyffin and found the food to be very good indeed. The homemade lemonade was delicious and the service, warm and friendly. If I have a complaint, it is the cost. I don't object to paying £10 plus for a roast, but I would expect vegetables to be included in that and I do think that charging for bread is a bit over the top.

We had lunch there and were very impressed with the standard of the food. The staff and lady proprietor were friendly. The food is a little pricy but worth every penny and we will go back soon.
