Needhams Description
Another gastronomic oasis in the Fen, set in an old brick farmhouse not far from Ely, that attractive Cathedral city rapidly becoming one of the places to be. The menu is modern innovative and co-owner Luke Pearson presides in the kitchen. Consider risotto of mussel and clams with leeks and camembert.
If you can bear all the fish the salmon fillet crusted with crab, pinenut and basil commends itself, or try the wild boar on fondant potato with pink peppercorn sauce and parsnip crisps. To conclude there could be banana spring rolls with chocolate sponge and toffee sauce. A tight little wine list with prices at a reasonable level.

We love this place. It really is worth the bother of driving up to Witchford. The menu is fantastic, we've done a couple of their themed evenings and they are fantastic as well. We really like the art gallery aspect too. Every time we go, there is a different exhibition of quite modern art which is interesting. We don't go to galleries so it's nice to see contemporary paintings every now and then. I give this place, 10 out of 10!

The menu is fantastic at Needhams and the food is just as good. I really love eating there. I think the art exhibitions are great too and it makes such a nice change to see something new and exciting on the walls every time we go. I would heartily recommend Needhams.
