New Farm Restaurant Description

At New Farm Restaurant they serve modern British and International cuisine in a distinctive style that is all their own. The menu changes monthly to reflect the changing seasons and to keep each visit a different experience.

They have speciality nights throughout the year and their themed ladies lunches held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month have received county-wide acclaim. They were naturally delighted to win the Taste of the West Gold award for best restaurant in Somerset in 2003 and in the same year were Highly Commended in the best British Cheeseboard Competition.

Family run, the ambience is relaxed, the service personal but not intrusive and the food has much to recommend it. They can cater for all tastes and specific dietary requirements with a little advance warning and provide menus tailored to your needs for a special occasion.

Your Reviews of New Farm Restaurant

Stevenson (21 October 2008)

I have just eaten at The New Farm Restaurant in Over Stratton. We just stumbled upon it, and were so glad we did. The food was spectacular and the staff so friendly. We have eaten all over the world, and I have to say that this gem rates as one of the best. Many congratulations to all at New Farm Restaurant.

A. Kearney (29 July 2008)

I have eaten twice at this restaurant. The first was an excellent experience with good food and first class wine. The service was polite; if quite slow in a fairly small restaurant especially at the start. The second time it was disappointing with one course sent back as it had been overcooked, although it was replaced promptly and efficiently. I am going a third time to see which meal was representative.
