We stopped in Kendal for one night and ate at the New Moon. The early evening menu has a very good choice of dishes and is exceptional value for money. It is well worth a visit, we will be going back next time we are in the Lakes.

It’s an excellent restaurant on all counts - excellent food well presented in a convivial atmosphere, with good hosts Farit and Sarah. The food is an exceptional value for money. Don't miss it whenever you are in Kendal. FYI it is closed on Mondays.
