Niro's Ristorante

Niro's Ristorante Italiano in Mill Street Luton is a lovely little place for a quiet cup of coffee or for an authentic Italian meal. You could spend time in the outdoor courtyard or in the dining area and treat yourself to quality food and drink.

The menu offers a range of good value lunchtime dishes and evening meals, all created from traditional natural ingredients by Italian chefs. The pizzas are flicked in view of the customer and baked fresh to order. Mains of, say, zuppa di pesce, soup with mussels, king prawns, squid, and clams in a red sauce, served with toasted bread; bistecca of grilled sirloin steak; chicken breast in red wine, with mushrooms, and tomato sauce; or veal escalope in breadcrumbs served with spaghetti Napoli, can be preceded by starters of cured Italian meats or a salad of avocado, mozzarella and tomato.

A small but exciting list of wines, beer, and champagne completes the picture.

Students are especially welcome on a Monday and Wednesday evening for pizza and cocktails for a remarkably reasonable price.
