How often have you heard the reply 'the food' when asking what matters most when you dine out? Well, here it is. Not that other considerations suffer overmuch in the process. There are innovations like bring-your-own-wine nights on Mondays and Tuesdays, and it's optional and there's no corkage in sight. Waiting staff are dressed casually, but they are efficient and cheerful and what they bear to your table is remarkably good. This is eating out for the right reason. House wine at £11.25.

My wife and I went here during our fourteen day honeymoon, and I have to say this meal was one of the highlights. It was a cozy atmosphere, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely outstanding. We were only in Bath for a day, but we obviously found the perfect restaurant for that one night. This place should not be missed on any visit to Bath.
