The meal was outstanding in flavours textures and ambience. Service was first class and well merits all the plaudits. It is not an everyday experience but still very pleasant. The dining is not particularly expensive at £35 for 3 courses of A la Carte or £45 for a 6 course "taster" menu. Drinks are pricey at £6 for a glass of wine or £24 for a bottle of house chardonnay. Each course of your meal is introduced by the waiter as it is served and no pressure is brought to bear to eat up and get out. Parking was a problem as on the night of our meal we clashed with a rugby match between Glasgow and Munster. A very exclusive and pleasant night out without being too snooty.
