No. 4 Restaurant situated right in the heart of the Fort William town centre, is a former registry office overlooking an attractive garden. The interior marries elegant Georgian style with the airy brightness of a stone-floored conservatory.

The restaurant, which enjoys a well earned reputation with both locals and visitors alike, offers a relaxed and informal atmosphere in which guests can enjoy fresh local produce and the best of home style cooking. It is open from 11.00am serving fresh tea and coffee and a variety of home baking. There is outside dining in the summer on their secluded patio.

The restaurant is nice and the service is okay but not good value for money. The food is neither fresh nor nicely cooked. We were given the wrong soup and the same dressing was used for all the main dishes.

Excellent food, delicious, and fast efficient service. We really enjoyed our meal at this charming restaurant situated between the museum and the tourist information centre, in the middle of Fort William. It was an unexpected find. My son is vegetarian, and his meal was also very good - thoroughly recommended.
