Nolita Description
Close on the heels of its illustrious siblings, Little Italy and Bar Italia in Soho, Nolita has carved a niche for itself in the heart of Hatfield residents and even beyond. Relax with a cup of coffee on the terrace during summer months and let your hair down on weekends as they host dinner dances until late. If that extra glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut beckons, just go for it - their courtesy car service comes handy if you live around the area and want to avoid the hassle of driving home.
Start off with a prawn cocktail 'mojito style' with fresh lime and watercress, or the deep fried fresh squid and tiger prawns served with homemade tartar sauce. A pasta course of paccheri with a Scotch beef fillet Ragú made with Barolo wine, and then drizzled with Parmesan shavings could precede a main course of crispy pork belly with a parsnip mash and apple sauce.

I'm in my mid twenties and I love Nolita's, my parents also love Nolita's. Why? Because it’s a venue with an atmosphere that caters for all tastes. I have a lovely meal and then a dance around as they clear tables at the weekend and a DJ takes over. I've been there a few times - yes it can be an expensive night, but it’s worth it for a special occasion. Book well in advance for a large table, and expect to pay a deposit.

I just wanted to say what a really wonderful day we had at Nolita last Sunday. It was my brother-in-law's birthday so there were four of us. I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Mr Nino is a perfect host, children and families mingle with sophisticated couples. The atmosphere is great but the food? The pork here is to die for. My sister-in-law is picky when it comes to food so I was a bit concerned. She was 'blown away' by the food. I have been there many times and have always found the staff to be exemplary - attentive yet not over bearing. Please keep doing what you are doing, Nino. We love you!
