Fine food and fine wines combine with ambient atmosphere at Doncaster's leading restaurant. Originally a fish restaurant, Nordest now serves traditional Anglo-Italian food with a modern feel. The venue boasts an upstairs dining area as well as a downstairs lounge where customers can enjoy food and drink in the courtyard.

Start with bruschetta of toasted bread with freshly chopped tomatoes, marinated in extra virgin olive oil, garlic, basil and a hint of chilli and a selection of mixed breads served with sun dried tomato and olive tapenade. Main course could reveal fresh sea bass fillet with ginger, lime, chilli, star anise and lemon grass baked in a paper bag to retain all the flavours and breast of chicken in a cream and mushroom sauce with rosemary roast potatoes. End the meal on a sweet note by ordering profiteroles with vanilla ice cream and a warm chocolate sauce and lemon torte and fresh cream.
