This is an amazing transformation from the old days. This pub has been given a sympathetic refurbishment that puts it in the Ladbroke Grove gastro territory. What makes it more than just a faceless gastro is the excellent and obviously well thought after range of beers and wines. Four beautifully kept real ales, some interesting lagers sit alongside the standard fodder and the wine list is good but not outstanding. The food was what I would describe as traditional British with a twist.

Genuine care has been taken to source excellent quality meat with provenance clearly stated. The price of the food was less than you anticipate for a venue such as this and left me in no doubt that it was indeed homemade.
