A group of six of us enjoyed a very convivial and excellent meal here in October 2006. The early opening was a plus, also close to St Pancras/Kings Cross Rail. Wine price was very acceptable. Hope to bring another group Easter week 2007.

We stayed at the Harlingford Hotel, less than a block from the restaurant in Cartwright Gardens, for two weeks in July, 2005. We had read great reviews about the fish and chips at the North Sea, and tried it for dinner our first night. We ordered a customized combination of fishes, chips and mushy peas to see if the North Sea would be a place where we could conveniently dine more than once. The food was superb (I loved the cod, my wife the plaice); the service was outstanding (the manager took an interest to make sure the wait staff customized our order at a reduced price); and the price was VERY reasonable. We ate there four times and were more pleased each succeeding time. We HIGHLY recommend the North Sea for both menu and price.
