Northern Tea Merchants café offers a thoroughly tempting range of snacks and light lunches, along with homemade cakes and scones, to complement their unrivalled list of teas and coffees. You can also enjoy a traditional British afternoon tea along with delightful pairings suggested by the Academy of Food and Wine. This has proved to be very popular and has attracted many of their regular customers to take part in this indulgent mid-afternoon 'pick me up'.

There are over 35 high quality teas on their menu and more than 30 different coffees, so even those with the most discerning palates can find something to satisfy them. They have been members of the UK Tea Council's Tea Guild since 1997, and have won 5 awards of excellence in the last 5 years, after they carried out a full refit of the shop and café.
