Notting Hill Brasserie Description
This chic, modern, warm and relaxing brasserie has its own bar, which is a very good place to start your evening, where its classy clientele appreciate the highly enjoyable cocktails that are served there. The menu starts simply enough listing soup and Caesar salad, but builds in interest with more enticing dishes such as blue swimmer crab ravioli with Asian duck sauce or peppered venison, caramelised endive, leek and bacon torte to name just two. If choosing the main course wasn't tough enough the dessert list will really get you with choices such as a warm pear tart with home made praline ice cream or hot chocolate pudding, chocolate ice cream and espresso anglaise.After recent upheavals it is good to see the new owners receiving a Restaurant Remy Award for 2004.

It's not cheap and the live music can be a little overpowering, but the food cannot be faulted. Really excellent on each occasion I've been there - especially the beef and the warm chocolate pudding.

I was looking for something different, something good, something 'homey' and I found it here. The waiters were knowledgeable, friendly and made me feel as if I had been a regular for years. The menu is wonderful, varied and I left with the distinct intention of coming back to work my way through the whole of the list! I am so pleased to have found such a comfortable place to visit with great food, friendly, smiling staff and gorgeous surroundings. I would suggest it to anyone and am sure to be back soon!!!
