Number 10 Description

Geoff and Isabel Ferguson brought a touch of culinary class to Carlisle when they opened Number 10. With Geoff behind the stove in this tiny (only twenty four seats)restaurant you can be assured of an extremely competently prepared and interesting meal at sensible prices. The style is loosely described as modern British, which covers almost every eventuality these days. The menu changes according to the seasons and makes copious use of local produce, from lamb to goat's cheese from Thornby Moor, or potted shrimps from Morecambe Bay. A short wine list starts with a House Wine at £10.75.
