Number 22 Description

Number 22 can be described as a modern and innovative take on these popular havens of delicious Spanish food and drink that are evolving into an entire cuisine. If you're on Half Moon Street and looking for a stop off point to enjoy some tapas and a drink before going home, head straight there.

The seasonal menu is made up of both familiar and unusual dishes. Fresh ingredients are brought from Spain to create starters of manchego and quince toasts, crispy squid with paprika aioli, and maridos of cured and fresh anchovies side by side. Tapas consist of choices such as clams with saffron; seared tuna loin with roasted tomato and caramelised onions, spiced pork kebabs, and new potatoes stuffed with pisto manchego and quails' egg. Paella is served every Sunday.

Desserts set out to delight, especially the chocolate mousse that's served with sultana de coco and orange coulis. A range of Mediterranean wines, bespoke cocktails, sherry and beers are always there to accompany your meal.
