Nutters Restaurant Description
Andrew Nutter manages to combine running his restaurant Nutters with being a well-known chef on TV, seemingly doing both with success. Certainly he is cooking up quite a storm these days and the Good Food Guide 2003 gives him a high rating of six for food, putting Nutters in the top bracket in England. Once a pub, the attractive stone-built exterior provides a bit of a contrast to the interior, which is rather strong on the patterned carpets and chandeliers, belying the contemporary feel to his well thought out, modern style of British food.

Two years back I took the family there on our twenty-fifth anniversary. Our guests felt that it was a truly memorable evening with exceptional food and service. We have been there several times since, and always enjoyed a real treat. Many think it is too expensive, but when we take friends there, they always have the same thing to say even when they are paying. It’s worth the price.

Absolutely superb, took some friends who were visiting from Southampton and they are just so envious that we have a quality restaurant in the area. Food was A1+ and the service exceptional and to top it all, Andrew was available to have a few words with my wife.
