We did not know about the existence of this gem. We were impressed by the surroundings - a lovely old manor house style hotel in Country Park, but what was more memorable was the food, exquisite! The restaurant boasts 2 Rosettes and yet the price was really reasonable - around £14 for a main course. Everything is sourced locally and even the after dinner chocolates with the coffee were made in the kitchen there. We were truly impressed and would highly recommend it.
