Old Palace Restaurant, The Description

The Old Palace is a beautiful ivy clad refuge, situated opposite the ancient Priory Church of St. Peter in the heart of Dunstable. The charming hotel has stood there for several hundred years during which it has built a name for itself for offering high standards of both food and service.

All sixty-eight ensuite bedrooms are equipped with modern and well thought through facilities to make a stay there pleasing and comfortable. Weddings, conferences and special occasions are catered for very well.

The Old Palace Restaurant with its oak panelled walls and period features offers a range of English and European dishes. Begin with a brilliant melon rose set on a raspberry coulis dressed with mint leaves, move on to braised lamb shank and thyme mash with redcurrant reduction and sign off with fresh fruit salad drizzled with pouring cream.

A full English or continental breakfast is served there through the week.
