A stunning townhouse in the heart of Kensington, the Millennium Bailey's Hotel is a fine setting for stylish dining at Olive's, one of the hotel's five dining destinations. The refined restaurant updates its Victorian heritage with contemporary elements like black marble tabletops and aesthetically designed furniture. A glass of chilled beer demands good sunshine and splendid views, and all this can be found at the open terrace area.
Italian dishes are presented with style, think deep-fried calamari and courgettes with dill mayonnaise, duck liver pâté and grape compote, and main courses such as roasted pork with Savoy cabbage frittata and Madeira sauce, and beef cutlet with potato salad, rocket and parmesan. Close the meal with a tiramisu, or vanilla bean pannacotta, raspberry coulis and chocolate.
The reasonably priced set lunchtime and pre-theatre deals provide for some easy-on-the-wallet dining in the afternoon and early evening.
