This ever-popular Italian, opened in 1990 on Eccleston Street, serves a good selection of seafood dishes in addition to the excellent selection of pasta on offer, many of which can be chosen as either a starter or main course size portion. The cooking is best described as Italian, but with strong Sardinian influence, as seen on the wine list as well. Their other speciality is charcoal grilling, everything from fish to meat, such as marinated lamb or pork. Service is attentive but never rushed and the wines here are carefully chosen to bring out the best in the food. Their informal pizza and pasta restaurant - Oliveto - is just one street across.
