I have been eating there for the last 18 years, have always had a fantastic meal and reception at the opium den is fantastic, whether it is just the two of us or 22 as most of the time there is. I’ve never had a bad meal – it’s always been spot on. Tak is a fantastic host who always remembers who you are. I have tried other Cantonese restaurants in Swansea and they come close but the Opium Den comes out on top.

Although I have never eaten in the restaurant, the Opium Den boasts a fantastic take-away! It may be slightly more expensive than some other Chinese eateries in Swansea but I certainly consider it to be one of the best. Thoroughly recommended!
