Orangery Restaurant, The Description
One of Norfolk's top-rated hotels and one of the AA top 200 hotels with three AA Red Stars, Congham Hall has a restaurant to match. Their Orangery, overlooking the lawns and parkland beyond, is an ideal setting in which to enjoy your meal, in the safe knowledge that the table is yours for the evening.
Your meal, which will include canapés, and an amuse bouche could consist of homegrown Jerusalem artichoke veloute followed by trio of local seafish or terrine of Norfolk goose and an assiette of Scottish lamb for main course. Desserts such as raspberry souffle or a choice of their own homemade ice-creams and sorbets. There are said to be over 700 varieties of herbs in the hotel garden, many of which are incorporated in their dishes and some of which are for sale in pots.

We visited The Orangery Restaurant last Sunday for a Fathers Day lunch; well actually it was so much more than just lunch as we took advantage of coupling lunch with clay pigeon shooting. Our sons also enjoyed having a go at croquet and the mini golf that is also available to play. We had a superb meal and everything was wonderful, especially the banana fritters with coconut ice cream - yum! We would love to try dinner sometime.
