An 18th century Manor House is home to the Hoole Hall Country Club Hotel and Spa, blending endearing old world charm with an exciting contemporary twist. The venue is slowly becoming a popular destination for hosting business events, comfortable overnight stays, and also for its tasty food.
A hundred and ten bedrooms are well planned and equipped with modern facilities, allowing for guests to relax; the spa at Hoole Hall is due to open during the autumn of 2009.
The Orchid Room restaurant is a haven of peace and calm. Styled in white leather, walnut and chocolate browns, the tone of this dining room has been described as New York chic meets Victoriana. Diners spend some time at the cocktail bar before feasting on dishes that could include chicken and pistachio with poached apricots; Cheshire smokehouse pancetta and affila cress; 24-hour slow-cooked and seared loin of lamb; and pan-cooked halibut with crab risotto.
Private gatherings in rooms that offer a view of the surrounding gardens can be organised for up to forty people.

We regularly eat at The Hoole Hall Hotel and it’s always been excellent from arrival to departure with exceptional service and very high standard of food, we have never been disappointed. We booked to go for my sister’s 30th birthday and were amazed to find the service even better; they could have not done more for us. Our table was ready on arrival and arranged to perfection. We enjoyed our food and drink but it was the extra little touches that made it for us all, like bringing my sister’s birthday cake out singing ‘happy birthday’ and taking us through to the lounge to finish our meal with coffees. They also came out at this point with some hand-made chocolates on a plate with happy birthday iced on the top of the plate, which was a fabulous touch. They did not know this at Hoole Hall, but my mom who was with us all has only has a few months to live and this is probably the last birthday she will see, I can’t thank the staff enough for all they did for a very special evening. I would recommend anyone to eat there. Thank you to all the members of staff.
