Organ and Dragon
65 London Road, Ewell, nr Epsom, KT17 2BL
Ewell's Organ and Dragon is a smart Thai restaurant set in an English pub with a relaxed and laidback atmosphere. The décor is fundamentally Oriental with red walls, although chic elements in the designer furniture raise it to different level altogether. Al fresco dining in the patio during warmer months is a splendid idea, although the stained glass skylight inside floods the seating area with natural light. The menu has notable influences from Malaysia along with the regular Thai fare. Starters might include marinated pork spare ribs cooked in BBQ sauce, followed by stir-fried tender slices of beef with garlic, onions and mixed vegetables, in an oyster sauce. Other main courses include green curry with seasonal vegetables, pea aubergines, basil, bamboo shoots and lime leaves and for dessert you could try the apple crunch served with toffee sauce.Ewell's Organ and Dragon is a smart Thai restaurant set in an English pub with a relaxed and laidback atmosphere. REVIEWS OF Organ and Dragon
Marie Street (9 December 2010)
I've eaten here several times and have always had good quality food, reasonably priced and the service has always been commendable. I would recommend a night out here anytime.
