I must say, I thoroughly enjoy the food at Ortega on a regular basis, although I find it a little overpriced and underachieving. The basics are always good, but anything complicated like the grilled mozzarella in honey and orange, don’t seem to hit the spot. The service is average yet courteous. On my last visit though, my dining partner complained that her crumble didn’t have any fruit in it, just what seemed to be coulis. The waitress told us that she would have tried to explain the kitchen staff, but as they are Polish, they may not understand. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is particularly enjoyable, as is the general ambience. I shall keep on returning.
