Ostrich Inn Description

The Ostrich Inn is run by Mandy and Richard Millar. The inn, complete with its original rustic beams has been trading since the 1680s and offers the same warm welcome today as it did 300 years ago.

You could choose to sit to in front of the log fire in the Library with your favourite pint and daily paper in winter or enjoy the summer sky in the flower filled courtyard. For all parties and special occasions, the barn offers the atmosphere and magic of old Norfolk with all the comfort and warmth of today.

Along with a comprehensive wine list, the bar offers real ales from local and national breweries. The menu presents a tempting variety of locally sourced meat, fresh fish and vegetarian dishes; while traditional Sunday roasts are available between 12.00 and 2.30 pm.

As en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation is offered throughout the year in king-size and twin rooms, visitors can escape, unwind and relax at any time.

Your Reviews of Ostrich Inn

Warhurst (26 May 2008)

We have stayed at Ostrich Inn twice now and think it is great. The food in the bar was excellent and the breakfast in our room was lovely. I prefer breakfast being delivered rather than the ‘do it yourself’ way. Our son and his wife, who emigrated to Australia last year, have fond memories of Ostrich Inn as we all went there for lunch before they emigrated. Please thank all your staff as they made us feel very welcome.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Ostrich Inn and breakfast was served in our room. The food and service was excellent and I'd recommend it highly.
