Not only was I pleasantly surprised by both the food and service but the venue itself was also not as I had imagined. Interiors were woody but comfortable. Quite a combination! We ate as a group and although the waitress took a while to bring our first round of drinks after that the evening went swimmingly. Food came as ordered and I know everyone was happy their meals. Being a vegetarian I was especially pleased with my choice of Nabe Yaki Udon (a warm soup with salted cod and vegetables). I thoroughly enjoyed the whole evening and found the staff friendly and didn’t chase us out at the end of the night.
