My wife and I had dinner here last night, and the food was extremely good, and well presented, we had the gamberoni and spaghetti vongole as a main, excellent quality shellfish bursting with flavour. The wine list is also extensive, both red and white and very fairly priced. For dessert we shared profiteroles, which were made in house, the best I've ever tasted. The service was to a high standard, excellent.

This restaurant ruined my wife's birthday. They took a booking for our party and when we turned up told us that we would have to wait 20 minutes. I asked whether there was somewhere that we could have a drink and they sent us downstairs. After I had paid for a bottle of champagne, I found out that there was a private party in that room and were ushered to a corridor for the next 20 minutes.

We left the restaurant one hour after our reservation was due after at least four promises that our table was nearly due. Half an hour before leaving, I asked the manager to be honest with me and tell me whether they were going to be able to seat us or not so that we could find another restaurant if need be. He reassured me that everything would be OK. It wasn't and the evening was ruined. The food at his place is good (I have eaten there many times before) but don't trust them for a reservation.
