Panoramic
The 34th Floor, West Tower, Brook Street, Liverpool, L3 9PJ
Visit Panoramic and you'll face one of life's most perplexing situations - whether to gaze endlessly into the mesmerizing skies or to sample the most tempting, modern European creations on the menu. As if this was not enough, the exquisite chocolate and cream interior will make you fall in love with this very stylish restaurant, said to be Britain's tallest, located on the 34th floor of Liverpool's West Tower. You could start your evening with a pre-dinner drink or choose from a short but attractive list of cocktails. Braised pork, apple purée and lentil jus or beetroot, goats' cheese and rocket to begin, line caught sea bass, new potatoes, crème fraiche and caviar, or pheasant with Savoy cabbage to follow, and chocolate mousse, served with tangerine jelly and orange Madeleine to finish.Visit Panoramic and you'll face one of life's most perplexing situations - whether to gaze endlessly into the mesmerizing skies or to sample the most tempting, modern European creations on the menu. REVIEWS OF Panoramic
Bill (17 July 2011)
Well, having read some of the odd reviews I cannot believe they refer to the same place. There are a number of adjectives you could use - stunning, breathtaking and unique to use only three. The restaurant to be sure is streets ahead on the venue and setting, you would have to be blind not to be impressed. However even the prettiest restaurant needs to earn its keep. I have been here lots of time for lunch at all times of the year and can confirm that the service, price and quality of food has never disappointed. I reserve further comment on dinner, but I have no doubt that this would also fulfill my high standards. I would strongly recommend as the number one venue in Liverpool to impress.
Veggie & 1 (2 February 2009)
We ate at the Panoramic Bar last year to celebrate an anniversary. The members of staff were very attentive and the view as dusk turned to night time was spectacular. The quality of the food was excellent but, as is often the case, there was only one veggie option which, despite the elaborate description, was essentially egg, chips and peas. Well presented, but as our bill came to £132 for two, with drinks, I'd expect something more exciting. I mentioned this to the maître’d who promised that it was something they planned to address, but a recent glance at their current menu shows that veggies, once again, are presented with no choice, in fact the single veggie main course is last year's starter.
