Patricks Restaurant
Patricks with Rooms, 638 Mumbles Road, Mumbles, SA3 4EA
Patricks is a family run restaurant with rooms, and has a lot to recommend it in an area that is slightly bereft of quality. They combine a 70 seater restaurant, with 8 individually designed en-suite rooms with a view of the Mumbles bay, and a colonial style lounge bar to relax in. Their team is headed up by four partners Catherine and Patrick Walsh and Sally and Dean Fuller. Pat and Dean head up the kitchen team serving a magpie style of cooking with influences from all four corners of the world, but using local Welsh produce, while Sally and Catherine run the front of house team. All four are very hands on and are backed up by a dedicated and professional team.European, Modern British

REVIEWS OF Patricks Restaurant
Mike B (5 July 2009)
We eat frequently at Patricks and once or twice have stayed there. It is the definitely the best place on Swansea Bay and beyond that the whole of the Gower Peninsula. The food is always excellent, the ambience is calm and the staff are always very good. In the four years since I discovered it, this place has never failed to please. We do eat elsewhere and have a good appreciation of what great standards are. The team always delivers at Patrick's. Just off there now for Sunday lunch.
Gerard Patrick O'Keeffe (Mexico) (8 January 2005)
Patrick's is quite simply the best place to eat in South Wales. It has a very relaxed atmosphere where you're left the hell alone (a refreshing change from the "can I help you?" school of irritating poorly-trained staff in most Swansea restaurants) to read the paper over a fine class of whatever you like.
The excellent food is prepared by the owners Patrick and Dean and their friendly and very professional staff. Situated along the 'Mumbles Mile' and a once beautiful Victorian sea front; Patrick's has set the standard and raised the tone again of The Mumbles.
On a summer's day you can sit and watch the boats bob in the bay a mere 200m from the front door - outstanding!
Book well in advance and expect to pay a bit more than other local eating places; quality costs people. It is also a Chav-free zone.
