Pellicano is quietly elegant, a lovely restaurant in the fashionable Chelsea neighbourhood where Italian food becomes a dining experience that is something to be cherished and enjoyed with friends or loved ones. The cuisine in this family run restaurant bears Sardinian influences while the freshness and authenticity of the ingredients leads to some marvellous dishes which have been appreciated by regular diners as well as critics. Inside, the décor is soothing and warm with dim lights while the al fresco seating outside is charming and delightful with a dash of colour.

The regularly changing menu could feature beef carpaccio with rocket and pecorino cheese followed by a wild fillet of sea bass pan fried with artichokes and served with spinach. Pastas and risottos are firm favourites while there other options such as roasted rack of lamb in herb crust with shallots served with mash potato can easily gladden the heart. The wine list is notably Italian although there are touches of the French also.
