The Penang Satay House is undoubtedly one of the most popular restaurants in the local area, so booking is always recommended. The appeal of this place is down to a combination of great food, good prices and amiable staff who pride themselves on really looking after their customers. The satay starters are the thing to try from classic chicken to the more interesting fish varieties. From the selection of main course options the tamarind chicken is especially delicious. It's also good to know that vegetarians are well catered for here and if you prefer to dine at home they also run a busy takeaway service too. Well, the 50th Surprise Party on Sunday in October at the Penang was absolutely wonderful! The staff were so accommodating, patient and so helpful from the beginning to the end of the night. The set menu was brilliant, enjoyable, tasty and very filling. Our families will continue to go to the Penang Satay House again and again. Thanks again to the Manager, Mr Chu and the rest of the staff who could not have served us better!

I have been to the restaurant several times and love the food. My favourite is the 'satay chicken, which is succulent and tasty'. The atmosphere and also the staff are always helpful, very willing to assist and have a very friendly manner. I have chosen the Penang for a 50th birthday surprise this month. Well done, Penang!
