We ate at this restaurant on Friday and hadn't booked but they were able to accommodate us without much problem and we are so glad they did. The meal was superb. I had the scallops to start; my husband had the crab salad - both excellent. For main course we both had monkfish with pea risotto, again excellent. We couldn't fit in a dessert unfortunately, but they did look good. One tiny criticism was that the main course was served very quickly after the starters, but I put it down to us not having booked, and they probably had the table booked for later that evening. All in all, great service, lovely surroundings and fantastic food. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend highly.

Good Food (23 June 2008)

We ate there on Sunday - excellent service and wonderful food, they even produced a great steak for a non fish eater. There was a great wine selection and a friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend this place the next time you visit Padstow.
