Peters West End
39 Hyndland Street, Glasgow, G11 5QF
Only a few minutes walk from Kelvin Hall Arena, Peters West End was recently taken over by Brian and Victoria Dunn. A modern and contemporary restaurant, its sleek and stylish interior welcomes diners to a relaxed and informal atmosphere. With a focus on fresh ingredients and the wholesome home cooked food, the kitchen emphasises on quality and a seasonally changing menu is firmly in place. Open with pan seared scallops with shallot cream, pancetta and herb salad or a melon marinated in ginger with passion fruit sorbet and gooseberry compote. Follow on with a canon of lamb with carrot and cumin puree, braised shoulder of lamb, minted mash and Madeira jus. To close, consider the classic crème brûlée or baked apple and almond pudding served with a ginger ice cream.Only a few minutes walk from Kelvin Hall Arena, Peters West End was recently taken over by Brian and Victoria Dunn. REVIEWS OF Peters West End
Veronica (9 February 2012)
If you're looking for somewhere to eat in the West End, i'd always recommend Peters restaurant in Partick. I've been here for meals with family, my husband, and friends for special occassions and have never been disappointed. The staff and service are always friendly and professional and the quality of the food really is better than i've found in Partick (and i've been living here for years!). My husband and I had yet another lovely meal from their new menu last week, and are thoroughly looking forward to trying their 'Thursday steak Night' tonight! Peters is a great little restaurant with excellent menus, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Definately my favourite in the West End!

With quality food, friendly staff, quick service and excellent value for money, Nando's is a great place to eat. Don't expect identikit, pre-fab restaurant interiors which are usually a staple of the larger chains; each restaurant is tailored to its local surroundings and customers, offering up a unique restaurant experience to go with the equally unique taste of legendary, Portuguese, Peri-Peri chicken.
