Mains of lemon sole with creamed celeriac, clams and five spice sauce or best end of Devon lamb with spiced aubergine and thyme jus take it to another level. Dessert of orange and vanilla baked Alaska or chocolate sphere with milk ice cream and honeycomb delivers the grand finale.
The chef's table, located in the heart of the kitchen, offers guests a ringside seat of all the action together with the delights of a bespoke menu.

REVIEWS OF Petrus Restaurant
Scott (29 May 2010)
I booked this restaurant for my wife and friends as a special treat on a trip to London. Special did not do this place justice. We arrived half an hour early to be greeted at the door by non other than JP Jean -Phillipe from Hells Kitchen. From that moment on we were made to feel special. We ordered our food with no harassing and no problems when asking what the specials were and what did the staff recommend. Every dish was sublime from the pigeon starter or the lamb starter or even the langoustines with watercress soup to the slow braised shredded beef to the sea bass or the steak. Everything was cooked perfectly the staff were more than attentive. In between courses we were treated to other chef’s compliments dishes such as the mouche bouche of fennel soup to the mini cones with fennel ice cream complete with dry ice. The sweet dishes were just as good with the chocolate bomb taking pride of place. A chocolate crisp covering a honey comb and vanilla ice cream then covered with hot chocolate sauce that melted the chocolate crisp covering, a work of art in itself. It was value for money and I have never had such good service or quality of food. I will be back as the terminator once said!
